LADIES & HITTYS

LADIES: The following Enchanted Attic 14" collector Lady dolls by Barb Spencer have bodies made from the finest quality dyed unbleached muslin. All of them have wired arms, and some have wired legs. Most of their hands have been needle sculpted. They have breasts, and most have bustles under their clothing. All of the doll faces have been penned with water proof permanent ink fabric pens and most have been finely needle-sculpted. Their heads are sewn to neck tabs. No glue anywhere! All dolls wear pantaloons and

long half slips. Dress skirts are lined. The doll hair is vintage styled, needle sculpted wool. All of these collector dolls are one-of-a-kind. Each doll is signed and comes with its own doll stand.

HITTYS: Approximately 6-1/4" tall. Each doll is a collector piece. Faces

are penned and lightly needle sculpted. Hair is black chenille, coiled and sewn

into ringlets. Curls on forehead are penned and embroidered using a fine

beading needle. Wired doll bodies are made from dyed muslin, with the

exception of legs. The legs are made from white bleached muslin.

Black boots are painted with a base paint and then acrylic paint. No smell!

Imitation red garters are on legs. Clothing cannot be removed.

Drop-waist pantaloons and half slip are either white bleached muslin, natural

cotton or a piece of vintage cloth (sometimes from a vintage handkerchief ) trimmed with cotton lace, or vintage lace. Clothing will be different on each doll. I'm always told that they look better when received than in photography.

Hittys take quite a long time to make, so they are rare to say the least.

HITTY Wired and slightly needle sculpted. Blue eyed Hitty is dressed in a brown cotton dress that has puffed sleeves. She wears natural a cotton linen (Osenberg) drop-waist slip trimmed with natural cotton cluny trim, natural linen drop-waist pantalets, wears coral-like necklace, has painted black boots and mock red garters. 	NEW PATRIOTIC HITTY! What an adorable face she has! Wired and slightly needle sculpted. Hitty is dressed in patriotic colors. Her little over skirt is lined, bodice has puffed sleeves, white drop-waist slip is trimmed with white tatted-like trim, white drop-waist pantaloons, wears coral-like necklace, has painted black boots and mock red garters. #01-RD Tweed 11" Victorian Raggedy collectible cloth Tweed is made from dyed best quality unbleached muslin, except for her legs which are made from red and beige striped cotton. Arms are wired for posing. Tweed has breasts. Her fingers are drawn on with antique-looking brown fabric ink. Her head is sewn to a neck tab. Tweed's face has been penned with fabric ink, painted with acrylic paint and blushed. Tweed has carrot-tone wool roving doll hair that is coifed (sewn to head...not glued!) and needle sculpted into a unique vintage hairstyle. Tweed wears a black velveteen lined skirt and a black, brown and cream light weight tapestry fringed regency sleeved top. At her waist is a rust and black velvet ribbon belt with a black oval buckle. At Tweed's throat, she wears a rust and black velvet laced ribbon choker. She has a diamond-like ring on one of her fingers. Her hat is made from black velveteen, trimmed with black net, rust, orange, gold, olive green and blue tiny velvet flocked flowers. The hat has one small black plume. Tweed wears tied knickers and a long, lace trimmed boots. Maude's face has been penned with fabric ink, painted with acrylic paint and blushed. Maude has carrot-tone wool roving doll hair that is coifed (sewn to head... not glued!) and needle sculpted into a unique vintage hairstyle. Maude wears a purple velveteen full length dress, which has regency sleeves trimmed with tiny black bead-look trim. Her dress skirt is lined. Over the bodice are elaborately detailed antique pink and purple glass seed beads, combined with antique grayish-black sequins which form an elegant apron look. At the bottom seam of her skirt is more tiny black bead-look trim. Note the diamond-like ring on one of her fingers. Maude's hat is black velveteen, trimmed with pinkish-purple satin covered grapes and leaves, pink and gray glass beads and pink plumes. Hat ribbon is sheer pink with metallic trim. She wears tied knickers and a long, lace trimmed half slip. Maude has leather-like black laced boots. Doll is signed and comes with her own doll stand. $79.

Black perle cotton lacing is on bottom of skirt for added definition. Eunice wears a pearl-like necklace. Her hat is made from black velveteen, trimmed with black net, black glass beadery and red plume. She wears tied knickers and a long, lace trimmed half slip. Maude has leather-like black laced boots.
